The project involves an extension with display space and a cafe at the Exit 112 Design Centre in the Červený Kříž industrial zone near the town of Antonínův Důl outside of Jihlava, in immediate proximity to the I/38 Jihlava – Havlíčkův Brod road. The appearance and placement of the extension are based on the local topography. The two-level extension with a flat roof is built on the northern facade of the existing Böhm manufacturing hall, with one level partially sunk into the terrain. As the aim was to have the extension blend in with the existing building, the same cladding – sandwich panels – was chosen. Photo: Zdeněk Helfert
