Chotoviny – Family house

The plot located in the developed area of the town of Chotoviny is connected to the local road. With one floor sunk into the hillside, from the road the house appears as a single-storey structure with discreet natural light. On the opposite side, the house opens up to the garden through glazed surfaces on two floors. Covered terraces line the house in this area. The massive glazing toward the garden is shaded by exterior blinds. The volume of the house is capped by a double attic covered in titanium zinc sheet metal. Located on the entrance floor are a two-car garage, the main entrance to the house, a foyer, the main living area, and the master bedroom with a bathroom. The lower level houses a pool, the utility room, bedrooms for the son and daughter and a room with garden technology. Direct contact with the exterior is provided by the terraces. The composition of the house does not disrupt the existing town development. The elongated rectangular shape tied to the contour line of the terrain is informed by rural architecture.
